We believe in the power of experiential education and hands on learning. In addition to our Science out of the Classroom programming, our students have the opportunity to experience hands on learning through our internship program; thoughtfully selected 7th and 8th graders participate in community based internships with organizations such as the Whaling Museum and the Buttonwood Park Zoo. Students serve as docents and, at the Immigrant Assistance Center, our bilingual students use their skills to support the needs of non-English speaking community members. Our internship program is growing steadily and we would love to hear from you if you have suggestions for partnership opportunities.
