The science curriculum at OSS has been structured to utilize community partnerships for experiential learning opportunities. The collaboration between OSS and the Community Boating Center of New Bedford consists of seven-week spring and fall sessions spent sailing at CBC on New Bedford Harbor, and a twelve-week winter session spent building scale model boats at OSS.

We are grateful to the American Association of University Women (AAUW) for helping sponsor this learning at OSS.
