For adolescents in middle school, academic success is difficult to achieve without close family involvement. For this reason, Our Sisters’ School views families as critical partners in ensuring progress and achievement for our students, and creates numerous opportunities for communication and collaboration. For example, academic progress reports are sent home weekly, teachers and staff are available for consultation, required family meetings are held regularly, and there are student-led portfolio presentations twice a year. In addition, each family contributes a minimum of 15 hours of school-based volunteering during each school year.
