Community as Campus

Our Community as Campus program is growing and we are always looking for further partnership opportunities. Some of our community partners include the Community Boating Center, Buttonwood Zoo, the New Bedford Whaling Museum and the Lloyd Center for the Environment. Regularly scheduled classes are arranged with our partners during the school day to create experiential components that are critical to each student’s education as they make classroom learning relevant. Community as Campus classes also allow students to make academic connections as they apply and explore their knowledge in real world situations.
