Liz Sangiolo joined OSS in 2022 teaching grades 7th and 8th Science as well as organizing on- and off-campus Summer experiences as the Summer Program Administrator. She graduated from Bridgewater State University in 2022 with her B.S. in Earth Sciences and minor in Childhood Studies. Throughout her undergraduate career, Liz worked for BSU’s Center for the Advancement of STEM Education (CASE) as an Outreach Educator & Lab Assistant. Here, she was able to expand her knowledge of STEM education by working with visiting middle school students throughout the lab classrooms on campus, where students are able to work with college-level lab equipment and complete various STEM lessons and activities. Liz also organized and held science after school programs through CASE where she traveled to local elementary schools for students to take part in. In her free time, Liz loves being outdoors and hiking, tap dancing at her local dance studio, going to concerts, and spending time with her friends and family.
